COPENHAGEN TRANSPORT

Copenhagen Transportation – You can rent car when you’re in Copenhagen if you prefer to see the city on your own. Another great way to see the sights of Copenhagen is to take one of the tours the city offers. See our tour section for some suggestions. The transportation system in Copenhagen is very efficient. There are busses, trains and Metros. You will get one ticket that is used for all the different types of transportation. The Metro has two main lines M1 and M2 and they are very simple to use. The stations are crystal clean and of a high design. You’ll see the Station entrances marked with a large M. The stations are bright and airy underground and the trains state of the art fully automated and driverless. There are many bus lines. The same ticket covers all forms of transport and can be bought singly, in books of 10 or a oneday ticket.

Travel Guide

The depots are clearly marked for all public transportation and there are good street signs for driving. You’ll want to make sure you obey parking signs to avoid getting a ticket while you’re on vacation. Copenhagen is clearly an easy town to get around in.

It’s easy to see a lot of sighs while you’re there. You’ll be wanting to go back again and again, we can just tell.
